Warranty on Woodflame barbecues

The Delecto and the Gusto are guaranteed against all manufacturing defects for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase under normal use as described in the owner’s manual. This warranty applies to all components of Gusto and Delecto barbecues and to the nautic kit, except for the body, which is guaranteed for five (5) years. 

Warranty specific to the Delecto

The paint on the body of the Woodflame Delecto is guaranteed for a period of one (1) year and the aluminum body for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase.

Warranty specific to the Gusto

The stainless steel body of the Woodflame Gusto is guaranteed for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase.

Exception: The warranty does not apply to accessories supplied by Woodflame such as tongs, brushes, wood blocks, batteries, electrical adapters or other items. It does not at any time include cleaning of parts or reimbursement for foods rendered inedible after being cooked on a Woodflame barbecue.

The warranty also excludes reimbursement, exchange or repair of an appliance or parts that are damaged as a result of:

• owner negligence, accident, improper assembly, commercial use or use failing to comply with Woodflame recommendations;
• repairs, maintenance, modifications or attempted repairs carried out by a person not authorized by the manufacturer;
• use of an electrical adapter or any other item not manufactured or recommended by the manufacturer, or use of an item not manufactured by but recommended by the manufacturer, that was already defective.

Woodflame offers no express or implied warranty of any kind. All implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular use in addition to the above-mentioned obligation are hereby denied by Woodflame and excluded from this warranty. No Woodflame employees, agents, sellers or other representatives are authorized to issue warranties on behalf of Woodflame.

If inspection shows the problem to have been caused by a defect in the product (materials or parts) during normal use of the product and during the warranty period, Woodflame will repair or replace the product free of charge. The manufacturer’s regular rates will be charged for any repairs required after expiry of the warranty period.

The only forms of compensation under the manufacturer’s warranty are repairs or replacement of defective product. Woodflame declines any liability for personal or other injury caused by the use of one of its barbecues.
