Unique cooking technology

Because it burns wood so efficiently, Woodflame does not give off smoke. Only your food is steeped in rich wood-smoke flavour.

The intense heat means you can use the entire cooking surface.

Combustion chamber

The high-efficiency Woodflame combustion system burns virtually all of the wood (99%). Near-perfect combustion means the Woodflame draws out all of the energy stored in the tiny wood cube and directs it to the grill, without energy loss.

Wood cubes are inserted into the combustion chamber, which is surrounded by a heat shield.

Forced-air system

A blower at the base of the combustion chamber supplies oxygen to the flame.
The unique patented Woodflame technology enables the unit to reach cooking temperatures of over 537°C (1,000°F) in under 2 minutes.

The forced-air system directs air into the combustion chamber to burn the wood at high temperatures.

Wood

Light a small cube of hardwood using a piece of Fire Starter. Forced air ignites the wood in just a few seconds. A 5 cm (2") cube of wood will grill four steaks or eight hamburgers.

Electronic control

The electronic switch gives you fingertip control of the air supply.
The blower is powered by four standard alkaline D-cell batteries, commonly used in flashlights. One set will last more than an entire barbecue season (over 36 hours).

The nine blower settings ensure optimum flame control.
